Manually refresh favicon.ico files in Firefox 3 | Tim Dupree - tdupree.com

Thank you, Tim I was pulling my hair out on this one. I couldn’t see the new favicon.ico I’d created for http://store.uniquephoto.com. By the way, I also found a great site called http://www.favicon.cc which helps you create a … uhh … well, a favicon.ico.

Speaking of which, I notice that I don’t have one. Well, that’s for off work hours.

Be warned, this involves - at least in Tim’s case - installing the SQLite Firefox Add-on.

In my case, I went through the whole procedure only to discover Firefox had already regained its senses via the (I guess?) restart after installing SQLite addon. *Sigh* Oh well, at least I have the SQLite Addon now, and learned a little bit more about the internals of Firefox.
