I wouldn't bet for osCommerce - unfortunately the leader is the problem and as much potential as it has, there is no future for it. Look at all those that left the community and created its' many forks which have killed the viability of this project as anything worthwhile. This will happen with osCommerce 3.0 as soon as the codebase is stable - too may cooks in the kitchen with different motives. Magento has leadership and vision and let's hope that even with its problems (which are minimal or trivial in most cases), it's what the open source eCommerce world needs to remain viable.
